Indiana and Rutgers Earn First Weekly Men’s Soccer Honors
Hoosiers’ Maher and Scarlet Knights’ Lie named Players of the Week

Offensive Player of the Week
Jørgen Wisth Lie, Rutgers
MF – Fr. – Trodenhiem, Norway
• Converted two penalty kicks against Temple and Drexel to help the Scarlet Knights start the season 2-0
• Scored the lone goal of the game against Temple, collecting the first season opener win for Rutgers since 2015
• Earns his first Offensive Player of the Week award
• Last Rutgers Offensive Player of the Week: David Greczek (Sept. 27, 2016)

Defensive Player of the Week

• Scored the game-winning goal in double overtime against No. RV UCLA
• Tallied an assist in the double-overtime win against Pittsburgh
