Indiana Men’s Soccer Coaches Earn Regional Coaching Staff of the Year
Staff receives the honor for the second year in a row
ROSEMONT, Ill. — The Indiana men’s soccer coaching staff earned 2019 United Soccer Coaches North Region Staff of the Year honors, it was announced Friday. The Hoosiers finished with a 15-3-4 record and earned both the Big Ten Championship and the Big Ten Tournament Championship before advancing to the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Hoosier staff — head coach Todd Yeagley, assistant coach/recruiting coordinator Kevin Robson, assistant coach Danny O’Rourke and volunteer assistant coach Christian Lomeli — earned the honor from their peer coaches who are members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services program.
The Indiana staff will be added to the National Staff of the Year ballot and will be recognized at the College Coaches Awards Reception on Jan. 16, 2020, at the United Soccer Coaches Convention in Chicago.
