Hawkeyes’ Megan Gustafson and Terrapins’ Shakira Austin are this week’s honorees

Megan Gustafson, Iowa
F/C – Sr. – Port Wing, Wis. – South Shore
Scored a season-high 44 points (17-26 FG), the most by a Big Ten student this season, and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead No. 16/15 Iowa past in-state rival Drake on Dec. 21
Her 17 made field goals tied for seventh-most in a single game in Big Ten history
Leads the nation in scoring (26.5 ppg.), field goal percentage (.747) and double-doubles (10) this year
Chosen as an Academic All-Big Ten honoree in 2017-18
Earns her 16th career Player of the Week award, one shy of Penn State’s Kelly Mazzante for second-most in Big Ten history, and collects her sixth of the season

Kenisha Bell, Sr., G, MINN: Had a near triple-double on Dec. 22 against Rhode Island with season highs of 28 points and nine assists along with seven rebounds in the win for the No. 13/16 Golden Gophers
Ae’Rianna Harris, Jr., F, PUR: Averaged 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game with a .609 field goal percentage last week, helping the Boilermakers to wins over Albany and previously-unbeaten Bradley

F – Fredericksburg, Va. – Riverdale Baptist
Nearly recorded a triple-double in her first career start on Dec. 20 at Delaware, finishing with 17 points, 13 rebounds and a career-high eight blocks in the Terrapins’ victory
Her eight blocked shots also tied the Maryland school record for a single game
Helped the fifth-ranked Terrapins wind up non-conference play with an 11-0 record
Collects her fourth career Freshman of the Week honor
