Iowa’s Megan Gustafson and Minnesota’s Destiny Pitts are this week’s honorees

Megan Gustafson, Iowa

Averaged 24.0 points, 13.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game with two double-doubles, a .619 field-goal percentage and a 1.000 free-throw percentage (22-of-22) last week as No. 23/21 Iowa opened Big Ten play with wins over Wisconsin and No. 21/19 Michigan

Collected 27 points (making 8-of-9 field goals), 11 rebounds and a career-high six blocks in Sunday’s victory over Michigan to post her NCAA-leading 14th double-double of the season

Registered 21 points and 16 rebounds in last Thursday’s Big Ten opener against Wisconsin

Earns her sixth career Player of the Week honor and fifth of the season, tying for the second-most Player of the Week awards in a single season and most since Ohio State’s Jantel Lavender had a record-setting six honors in 2010-11
