IU South Bend Announces Indoor Game Day Fan Protocols

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and to keep our Titan community safe, Indiana University South Bend athletics will not allow visiting team fans at indoor home events until further notice.

Indiana University South Bend continues to evaluate the COVID-19 environment on a weekly basis and understands that this decision may need to rescind or modify spectator attendance at any time. IUSB will re-evaluate this approach at the end of the calendar year and decide if modifications will be necessary starting in January 2021.

Attendance is open to game personal that includes athletes, coaches, game-table, officials, medical staff, and broadcasting crews. Each IU South Bend basketball and volleyball team will receive a family pass list per each home event that will consist of no more than two guests per athlete.

All attendees will be required to wear masks and practice physical distancing. Anyone that is found to not be abiding by these rules will be asked to leave the building.

Titan athletics is encouraging fans to participate in the award-winning broadcasting company, Regional Radio Sports Network that will provide live play-by-play coverage for all IU South Bend basketball and volleyball home events.

RRSN was founded in 1992 by Paul Condry. It quickly became a recognized and award winning broadcast company covering major High School and College level men’s and women’s sports in Indiana. The entire RRSN team includes over 50 staff, sportscasters, and support personnel with primary offices in Mishawaka, Indiana, and others spread throughout Northern Indiana.
