IUSB Women outlast Saint Ambrose in OT

South Bend, Ind. – The cold weather outdoors didn’t prevent the Indiana University South Bend women’s basketball team from firing up at the right time on Saturday afternoon. The Titans pulled out a huge overtime victory over (RV) St. Ambrose University, 76-73. IUSB would lead by as many as 7 points in the fourth quarter before the Bees would fight back to push the game into overtime. Heading into overtime, SAU would take their lead to 4 points before the Titans would eventually take the lead for good. Free throws would be the key for the Titans in the overtime thriller as the team shot 23-29 from the charity stripe, including 5-7 in the final minutes to solidify the win.
