GARY, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (3-18, 3-6 CCAC) defeated the Indiana University Northwest RedHawks (8-19, 5-6 CCAC) in four sets by scores of 25-22, 25-23, 22-25, and 25-17. Thursday’s victory makes the Titans victorious in two of their last three contests.

The Indiana University South Bend Titans offense featured two hitters to record double digit kills, led by senior hitter Abby Seeger who finished Thursday’s match with a team high 13 kills. Seeger’s 13 kills came on a season high .500 attack percentage.

The next Titan to record double digit kills was junior Ryleigh Grott who finished with 11 kills, her fifth game this season with at least 10 kills. Grott also finished with four blocks, the most by any Titan.

The IU South Bend passing game featured two Titans to record double digit assists, led by sophomore setter Emma Knowlton who finished with a game high 21 assists. Knowlton’s 21 assists moves her into fifth place in the CCAC in assists per set with 8.25.

Freshman setter Brynn Lake finished the four set victory with 18 assists, her fourth consecutive game recording double digit assists. Lake also was one of four Titans to finish with at least 10 digs, good enough for the second double-double of her career.
