COACH BENJAMIN SAYS…
“Jon adjusted well and pitched competitively through eight innings. Our hitters had several loud outs and had about 50-percent quality at bats. On most days, that QAB number is enough score crooked numbers. Of the 35 at bats today, I thought we could have hit better in counts with four of them. The other 31, guys attacked the game and played it well. If we continue to hit the ball hard our guys will be rewarded.”
