IWU Baseball Explodes for 41 Runs in Wins vs. Brescia, Lindsey Wilson

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Indiana Wesleyan University baseball plated 20 or more runs in both games played on Tuesday vs. Brescia (Ky.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.). They Wildcats scored multiple runs in 8-of-15 innings and smacked 11 extra base hits in the wins. Both games were played at Lindsey Wilson.

Indiana Wesleyan put the game out of reach with an 8-run 3rd inning for a 10-3 lead. IWU added five more runs in the 5th inning and six in the 6th inning.

GAME RECAP VS. LINDSEY WILSON

The Wildcats led 3-0 after two innings and never trailed. IWU pulled away in the middle innings as they plated six runs in the 5th inning and two more in the 6th inning for a 11-2 lead. A nine run 8th inning led to the mercy rule victory in the 8th.

All nine Wildcat starters earned a hit and reached base at least two times. IWU outhit LWC 17-9.
