IWU Softball Blanks MVNU in Doubleheader Sweep

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Indiana Wesleyan softball outscored Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) 24-0 in two wins on Tuesday afternoon in Ohio. Wildcat pitching combined for eight hits allowed to bolster the pair of shutouts and improve to 23-9 on the season.

  • The score remained 2-0 until the 6th when the Wildcats scored five times for a 7–0 lead. Kira Madl had the big hit in the inning with a bases clearing double.
  • Indiana Wesleyan added on with three ore run in the 7th. Kaisey Carson crushed a two-run double in the frame.
