IWU Tabbed as Men’s Hoops Favorites in Crossroads League Preseason Poll

AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League announced its 2020-2021 Men’s Basketball Preseason Poll and Preseason All-League Team on Wednesday, as voted on by the league’s 10 head coaches.

Indiana Wesleyan was voted as the preseason favorite to repeat as Crossroads League Champions, after securing the league’s regular season and tournament titles one year ago. Marian finished second in the poll, followed by Saint Francis, Grace and Bethel.

IWU’s Kyle Mangas was once again selected as the Crossroads League Preseason Player of the Year, after earning NAIA National Player-of-the-Year recognition last year. The three-time NAIA First-Team All-American was joined on the Preseason All-Crossroads League Team by fellow NAIA All-Americans, TreVion Crews (BU), Jevon Knox (MVNU), Seth Maxwell (IWU), Cameron Wolter (MU), Antwaan Cushingberry (USF), Haden Deaton (GC) and Brandon Durnell (SAU), with Christian Harvey (MU) and Caleb Middlesworth (HU) also making the prestigious 10-player list.
