IWU Volleyball Cuts Down Foresters in Three

 

MARION, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball hit .306 as a team and made quick work of visiting Huntington in a 3-0 win Wednesday night in Luckey Arena. IWU served six aces and finished the evening with four players with eight or more kills.

Megan Graber hit an eye-popping .632 with 13 kills in 19 chances. She added one solo block, two block assists, and four digs for the Wildcats.

19 STRAIGHT VS. HUNTINGTON

Indiana Wesleyan has dominated the series with Huntington with 19 consecutive wins. The last HU win in the series was over nine years ago on October 21, 2009.

Indiana Wesleyan has won seven of their last eight Crossroads League matches and 17 of their last 19 matches overall. IWU is now 19-11 on the season and 12-5 in league play. Indiana Wesleyan is receiving votes in the most current NAIA Volleyball Coaches’ Top-25 Poll.

NEXT FOR THE WILDCATS

Indiana Wesleyan closes out the regular season this weekend with a pair of home matches. IWU hosts No. 24 Marian (Ind.) on Friday night at 7 p.m. and then Grace (Ind.) on Saturday at 3 p.m. Both matches could have huge implications in the Crossroads League as all three teams are in the top-four of the league standings.
