Volleyball Falls in Four Sets to Saint Francis
MARION, Ind. – Errors came back to cost Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball in a tightly contested four set match on Wednesday vs. No. 19 Saint Francis (Ind.). The Wildcats finished the night with 31 errors and a .069 attack percentage. Kelly Miller paced the Wildcats with 14 kills.
RARE HOME LOSS
Indiana Wesleyan lost a Crossroads League match in Luckey Arena for the first time in nearly a year. The last such loss came on September 8, 2017 to Taylor (Ind.).
Saint Francis has won nine consecutive matches to improve to 12-2 on the season, including a win over No. 4 Viterbo (Wis.). USF is No. 19 in the new poll released on Tuesday.
BACK IN ACTION
Indiana Wesleyan is right back on the court for two more Crossroads League matches this weekend. IWU travels to Upland to play at Taylor (Ind.) on Friday night at 7 p.m. and then returns home on Saturday for a 1 p.m. showdown with Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio).
