IWU’s FALCONE NAMED NAIA NATIONAL VOLLEYBALL SETTER OF THE WEEK

MARION, Ind – The NAIA national office announced Tuesday that senior setter Alex Falcone is the NAIA Volleyball National Setter of the Week. This is the second NAIA award given to IWU this season, with Marci Miller winning NAIA Volleyball National Attacker of the Week two weeks ago.

 

Falcone recorded her 650th assist of the season last week while guiding her team to a 3-0 week. The Indiana native recorded a week-high 51 assists in the victory over Saint Francis. In her three matches, Falcone tallied 134 assists with an average of 13.4 assists per-set.

 

Falcone and the Wildcats head to League foe Goshen College tomorrow with a 7 p.m. start time.
