Ja’Mare Washington powers Saints past Great Lakes Christian

Notre Dame, IN. The Holy Cross College men’s basketball team hosted Great Lakes Christian College in a non-conference competition this evening. The Saints jumped out to an early lead, and would cruise to a 94-78 victory. With the win, men’s basketball improves to 9-5 overall and 4-2 in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Senior Ja’Mare Washington scored a team-high 26 points on 13/14 shooting from the field. Sophomore Robby Jimenez scored 21 points, while senior Travon Brackett added 17 points, and junior Nate Miller recorded a team-best ten assists. Holy Cross shot 62% from the field and 39% from behind the arc.

Men’s basketball will be back in CCAC action when they host Calumet College of St. Joseph Saturday, December 16. Tipoff set for 3:00pm
