Kessler to coach 2019 NAIA All-Star Game

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Grace’s longtime men’s basketball head coach Jim Kessler will get one more game on the sidelines before his retirement.

Kessler was named a coach for the 2019 NAIA All-Star Game, held at iconic Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo. He will coach the East Team on Tuesday, March 26, in the matchup preceding the NAIA Division I national championship game.

Also joining Kessler on the East Team will be the Lancers’ graduating senior Logan Godfrey.

Kessler will coach against Bob Burchard of Columbia (Mo.), who is also retiring this year. Kessler and Burchard finished their careers with a remarkable tie as both recorded 788 career victories.
