  2. NorthWood (7-0): Jaden Miller had a 66-yard interception return for a touchdown as the No. 2 (Class 4A) Panthers rolled to a 49-6 win over Elkhart Memorial.

  4. Bremen (7-0): Sam Huffman caught a 36-yard touchdown pass and also recorded a pair of quarterback sacks as the No. 5 (Class 2A) Lions clinched a share of the Northern Indiana Conference South Division title with a 37-0 blanking of Washington.
  5. Warsaw (6-1): Juan Jaramillo had 100 yards on the ground as the Tigers claimed the “W” trophy with a 49-16 win at Wawasee.

HONORABLE MENTION

Elkhart Central (4-3): Dominic Davis’ nine-yard scoring scamper helped the Blazers snap a two-game losing skid with a 45-19 triumph over Adams.

Knox (5-2): The passing of Zac Rose was not enough for the Redskins in their 36-0 loss to top-ranked and defending Class 1A state champion Pioneer.

Michigan City (5-2): Demetrius Garrett Jr. hauled in nine passes for 229 yards and three touchdowns for the No. 7 (Class 5A) Wolves in a 49-14 victory at Portage.

Plymouth (5-2): Joe Barron’s five-yard romp into the end zone with 34.8 seconds on the clock guided the Rockies to a 27-23 win at Concord.

Riley (4-3): Conor Kingston’s extra-point was the difference as the Wildcats made it three straight wins with a 14-13 decision over Jimtown.

MAKING STRIDES

Culver Academy (4-2): Ethan Pack’s two-yard touchdown lifted the Eagles to a 9-7 win over Marian.

Culver (2-5): Kaleb Jones came up with 63 yards on the ground and two scores in the Cavaliers’ 45-12 victory against Caston.

LaVille (4-3): Kolby Watts exploded for 161 yards rushing and three touchdowns for the Lancers in a 55-14 win over Glenn.

Northridge (4-3): Oliver Eveler ran and threw for a pair of scores as the Raiders ended a two-game losing skid with a 30-14 win at Goshen.

Triton (4-3): James Snyder tossed for 266 yards with three touchdowns and ran for a fourth score in the Trojans’ 37-29 victory over North Judson.

WORK IN PROGRESS

Goshen (1-6): Colin Turner’s 206 yards through the air against Northridge couldn’t prevent the RedHawks from suffering their sixth straight setback.

LaPorte (2-5): Collin Berquist ran for 145 yards and a score, but the Slicers came up on the short end of a 24-21 setback to Crown Point.

Marian (4-3): Maddix Bogunia accounted the Knights’ lone tally against Culver Academy with a seven-yard touchdown reception.

New Prairie (4-3): Ian Skornog tallied the Cougars’ only touchdown against Penn with a six-yard run.

Saint Joseph (4-3): J.P. Lewis caught a 14-yard touchdown pass for the Indians against Mishawaka.

STAY TUNED

Culver Academy (4-2) at Saint Joseph (4-3): The Indians have taken five of the last seven meetings against Culver Academy.

Marian (4-3) at Mishawaka (6-1): The Cavemen are looking to make it seven straight wins over Marian.

Penn (6-1) at Elkhart Central (4-3): The Blazers have not beaten Penn since a 12-9 overtime triumph in the 1982 campaign.

Riley (4-3) at New Prairie (4-3): The Cougars have outscored Riley, 229-80, in their last four matchups.
