STAYING ALIVE

Adams (4-6): Caleb Rouch had a one-yard scoring run in the Eagles’ 35-14 win over Goshen.

Bremen (7-3): Austin McKenzie scampered for 78 yards and a score in the Lions’ 28-13 win over Manchester.

Concord (9-1): Amarion Moore recorded seven receptions for 132 yards and two scores in the No. 6 (Class 5A) Minutemen’s 38-13 win over LaPorte.

Glenn (5-4): Austin White tossed for 123 yards and five touchdowns in the Falcons’ 41-13 win over Lakeland.

Jimtown (8-2): Johntu Reed ran for a touchdown, caught a pass for another score, and booted a 30-yard field goal in the Jimmies’ 31-21 win over West Noble.

Marian (7-3): Michael Murphy recorded a 10-yard touchdown catch in the Knights’ 49-14 win over Washington.

New Prairie (8-2): Trenton Klute hauled in a 13-yard touchdown pass in the Cougars’ 48-0 win over Plymouth.

Northridge (6-4): Eric Jennings came up with a fumble recovery in the Raiders’ 28-7 win at NorthWood.

Saint Joseph (3-7): Julian Kamanda’s interception helped the Indians in their 15-14 win over Logansport.

WAITING IN THE WINGS

Elkhart (5-4): Aalias Leonard ran 23 times for 117 yards and two scores in the Lions’ 21-14 win over New Prairie.

Mishawaka (7-2): Davion Taylor hauled in a 70-yard touchdown pass in the No. 7 (Class 5A) Cavemen’s 58-14 win over Northridge.

Penn (4-5): Braden Primrose booted a 34-yard field goal in the Kingsmen’s 38-0 win over Adams.

Warsaw (7-2): Tucker Curtis came up with a 25-yard run for a score in the Tigers’ 26-22 loss to Concord.

Clay (0-9): Michael McSorley accounted for 104 yards rushing and a score in the Colonials’ 50-8 loss to Culver Academy.

Goshen (4-6): Noah Alford caught a pair of touchdown passes for the RedHawks against Adams.

NorthWood (5-5): Kaden Lone registered a 26-yard scoring reception for the Panthers against Northridge.

Plymouth (0-10): Kwintin Heiny tallied five rushes for 19 yards for the Rockies against New Prairie.

Riley (1-6): Elijah Taylor tossed for 95 yards with a touchdown in the Wildcats’ 35-6 loss to Kankakee Valley.

Washington (3-5): Marshawn Lottie tallied 90 yards on the ground with a score for the Panthers against Marian.

Wawasee (1-9): Lucas Ringler rambled six yards for a touchdown in the Warriors’ 42-7 loss to DeKalb.

LOOKING AHEAD

Bremen (7-3) at LaVille (7-2) (Class 2A Sectional 34): The Lancers have not won a sectional championship since 2017, while Bremen’s previous title occurred in 2018.

Penn (4-5) at Elkhart (5-4) (Class 6A Sectional 2): The Lions are looking for their second straight sectional crown, while Penn’s last title came in 2017.

Glenn (5-4) at Jimtown (8-2) (Class 3A Sectional 26): The Falcons have not celebrated a sectional crown since 2004, while Jimtown is going for their first title since 2014.

Marian (7-3) at Tippecanoe Valley (10-0) (Class 3A Sectional 26): The Knights are going after their eight straight sectional title, while Tippecanoe Valley’s last crown came in 1992.

Mishawaka (7-2) at Concord (9-1) (Class 5A Sectional 10): The Cavemen are in pursuit of their fourth consecutive sectional crown, while Concord’s previous championship came in 2018.
