LAST ONES STANDING

Carmel (21-7): John-Michael Mulloy poured in 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for the No. 10 Greyhounds in their 63-43 win over No. 2 Riley for the Class 4A Lafayette title.

Warren Central (31-0): David Bell tallied 17 points, including the game-winning basket at the buzzer, to lift the top-ranked Warriors to a 64-62 win over No. 3 New Albany in the Class 4A Seymour final.

Culver Academy (22-6): Trey Galloway netted 14 points to help the No. 4 Eagles clinch their second trip to the state title game with a 65-60 triumph over top-ranked New Castle in the Class 3A Lafayette finale.

Evansville Bosse (25-4): Mekhi Larry racked up 27 points for the No. 3 Bulldogs in their 64-61 victory over No. 7 Danville in the Class 3A Washington title clash.

Oak Hill (25-5): Caleb Middlesworth’s 20 points paced the No. 5 Golden Eagles in their 70-64 win against No. 2 Westview for the Class 2A Huntington title.

Forest Park (25-4): Collin Hochgesang contributed 18 points as the Rangers downed Indianapolis Scecina, 58-47, in the Class 2A Washington final.

Southwood (25-3): Dallas Holmes recorded 23 points as the No. 3 Knights slipped past No. 1 Fort Wayne Blackhawk, 55-53, for the Class 1A Huntington crown.

Morristown (27-2): Hayden Langkabel finished with 27 points for the No. 4 Yellow Jackets in a 77-70 triumph over No. 5 Barr-Reeve in the Class 1A Seymour finale.

Riley (26-1): Indiana University recruit Damezi Anderson managed just six points for the Wildcats against Carmel and finished his fabulous career with 1,949 points.

New Albany (25-2): Romeo Langford tallied 35 points for the Bulldogs against Warren Central and ended up with 3,002 career points.

New Castle (27-2): Luke Bumbalough came up with 29 points, but the Trojans still came up short against Culver Academy.

Danville (22-5): Alec Burton managed 29 points for the Warriors against Evansville Bosse.

Westview (28-2): Elijah Hales’ 31 points were not enough for the Warriors against Oak Hill.

Indianapolis Scecina (19-10): Cobie Dillard’s 13 points could not help the Crusaders against Forest Park.

Fort Wayne Blackhawk (26-3): Jalan Mull ended up with 23 points for the Braves against Southwood.

Barr-Reeve (24-5): Austin Ainscough had 19 points for the Vikings against Morristown.

UP NEXT

Carmel (21-7) vs. Warren Central (31-0) (Class 4A): The Greyhounds are in the title game for the first time since winning back-to-back state championships in 2012 and 2013. Warren Central is making its first appearance in the state finale. The Warriors slipped past Carmel, 66-65, on February 16.

Culver Academy (22-6) vs. Evansville Bosse (25-4) (Class 3A): The Eagles are making their first trip to the state finals since 2011, while Evansville Bosse finished as state runner-up to Marion in 2016. The Bulldogs posted a 74-64 win over Culver Academy on December 16.

Oak Hill (25-5) vs. Forest Park (25-4) (Class 2A): The Golden Eagles celebrated their first semistate title, while Forest Park earned back-to-back state crown in 2005 and 2006.

Southwood (25-3) vs. Morristown (27-2): The Knights and Morristown are both making their first visit to Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Prior to this past week, Southwood’s last semistate appearance was in 2010, while the Yellow Jackets’ previous one came in 1998.
