  1. Marian (6-0): Michael Baughman scored nine points for the No. 1 (Class 3A) Knights in their 64-35 win over rival Mishawaka.
  2. Riley (8-1): Gabe Johnson tallied 17 points in the No. 6 (Class 4A) Wildcats’ 73-55 victory over Plymouth.
  3. Elkhart Memorial (7-1): Malachi Emmons came up with the game-winning bucket for the No. 9 (Class 4A) Chargers in a 78-76 win over No. 9 (Class 4A) Penn.
  4. Jimtown (5-1): Clay Campbell helped the Jimmies equal last season’s win total with 10 points in a 36-28 win over Concord.
  5. Penn (6-2): Drew Lutz’s 30 points were not enough for the Kingsmen against Elkhart Memorial.
  6. Warsaw (6-3): Nolan Groninger came up with 20 points in the Tigers’ 50-47 upset of No. 1 (Class 2A) Westview.
  7. Northridge (4-3): Jackson Erekson accounted for 16 points, including the game-winning layup, in the Raiders’ 60-59 overtime win over Washington.

HONORABLE MENTION

Adams (4-4): Sydney Jeffries poured in 18 points, but the Eagles came up on the short end of an 80-68 decision to LaPorte.

Glenn (5-4): Robby Porter recorded 27 points in the Falcons’ 72-60 triumph over Clay.

Goshen (4-3): Eric Newell registered 12 points in the fourth quarter of the RedHawks’ 42-40 win over Elkhart Central.

Plymouth (5-3): Jake Reichard contributed 12 points for the Pilgrims against Riley.

Saint Joseph (3-3): J.R. Konieczny tallied 21 points for the Indians in a 51-41 win over Elkhart Central.

BEST OF THE REST

Bremen (3-4): Brooks Feldman’s eight points paved the way for the Lions in a 41-38 win over Argos. Mishawaka.

Mishawaka (3-4): Grant Jablonski’s 15 points helped the Cavemen in their 57-56 victory against Elkhart Central.

New Prairie (3-5): Cade Boniface ended up with eight points for the Cougars in their 40-37 win over Boone Grove.

Wawasee (2-5): Ethan Hardy’s six points and 10 rebounds allowed the Warriors to post a 60-52 win at Central Noble.

HELP WANTED

Clay (2-7): Anthony Neal ended up with 13 points for the Colonials against Glenn.

Concord (0-6): Sherman Southern racked up five points for the Minutemen against Jimtown.

Elkhart Central (1-8): Rodney McGraw finished with six points and five rebounds for the Blazers against Goshen.

NorthWood (3-6): Trent Edwards netted 20 points, but the Panthers still suffered their fifth straight setback with a 64-54 loss to Columbia City.

Washington (3-4): Jylen Petty’s 21 points against Northridge couldn’t keep the Panthers from suffering their third loss in a row.

COMING ATTRACTIONS

Connersville (6-2) vs. Adams (4-4) (Thursday at Richmond Tournament): The Spartans are in pursuit of their fifth straight triumph, while Adams have surrendered 63 or more points in five contests.

Jimtown (5-1) vs. Knox (7-1) (Friday at Plymouth Tournament): The Redskins have dropped three straight contests to Jimtown.

Logansport (8-0) vs. Saint Joseph (3-3) (Friday at Indiana Wesleyan): The Berries have not started 9-0 since the 2014-15 campaign, while Saint Joseph has scored 51 or more points in five of its six games.

Riley (8-1) at Benton Harbor (6-0) (Friday): The Wildcats made the Class 4A final four last season, while Benton Harbor claimed Michigan’s Class B state title.

East Noble (7-2) vs. Warsaw (6-3) (Saturday at Grace College): The Tigers are going for their fourth consecutive win over East Noble.
