Lady Chargers Advance to Regional Semifinals

Plymouth – Ancilla College beat Jackson College 67-57 Tuesday night to advance to the semifinals of the National Junior College Athletic Association Region 12, District G women’s basketball championship.

LaRae Roscoe led the Lady Chargers (23-5) with 17 points, seven rebounds and five steals. Brynda Krueger finished with 12 points and seven bounds and Camryn Kopka added 11 point, Donshae grabbed 12 rebounds and Hannah Stolte had four blocks.

Ancilla will travel to Port Huron, MI on Friday for a 1 p.m. game against Grand Rapids Community College, a 68-65 winner over Mid-Michigan. The Lady Chargers own two victories over Grand Rapids this season, but the most recent was only by four points.
