Lady Chargers Down Grand Rapids 72-68
Grand Rapids, MI – LaRae Roscoe hit three late free throws to help Ancilla College beat Grand Rapids Community College 72-68 Wednesday night in a Michigan Community College Athletic Association contest. The win keeps the Lady Chargers (19-5, 9-4) in contention for a first round home game in the NJCAA District 12.
Roscoe led Ancilla with 16 points, Camryn Kopka adding 13 and Brynda Krueger scoring 11 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
The Lady Chargers return home Saturday for a game against Lansing Community College. Game time is 1 p.m. Monday they travel to Glen Oaks, MI for a 5:30 contest and Wednesday they conclude their regular season by hosting Lake Michigan at 5:30 in the LifePlex in Plymouth. Ancilla is fighting for a top-four MCCAA finish so they can host a first round NJCAA Region 12 playoff game.
