Lady Chargers Win Home Opener
PLYMOUTH —Â Talia Bee scored a game-high 24 points and Jaela Meister grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds as Ancilla College shook off a bad third quarter to bear Morton College 67-56 in their home opener on Saturday at the LifePlex in Plymouth.
LaRae Roscoe finished with 16 points, four assists and eight rebounds for the Lady Chargers (3-2). Emily Richards had nine rounds. Bee hit four three-pointers in the contest and hit six of eight gree throws.
Ancilla is off until after Thanksgiving. They travel to Fort Wayne on Nov. 26th to play the Indiana Tech JV in a 7:30 p.m. contest.
