Lady Lancers blitz Lakers
CELINA, Ohio – Grace’s women’s basketball team picked up its second straight win, exploding with a 107-43 win at Wright State-Lake.
The Lady Lancers (2-1) scored 54 points off the bench and had six scorers reach double-digit points.
Kyannah Stull sparked Grace in the first quarter. The sophomore buried four 3-pointers in the first frame alone, helping Grace jump out to a 31-11 lead.
The Lakers were held to 11 points again in the second quarter, and Grace pulled ahead 60-22 at halftime.
Grace head coach Dan Davis substituted liberally throughout the game; the Lady Lancers coasted to a 64-point victory.
Stull led all players with 15 points and 10 rebounds, hitting 5-of-8 from beyond the arc. Brielle Wilson and Pam Miller both had 13 points off the bench, and the duo accounted for 13 boards as well.
Brooke Treadway scored 12 points on 6-of-9 shooting to go along with seven rebounds, and Kamryn Hostetler added 11 points and four assists.
Kaylie Warble posted 10 points and seven boards, Vironnica Drake had nine points and four steals, and Brooke Sugg notched eight points and three assists.
Lauren Godfrey and Lexi Minix each produced a well-rounded statline 7 points, 4 assists and 2 steals.
The Lady Lancers will enjoy their home opener on Saturday, hosting Governors State at 3 p.m.
