Grand Rapids, Mich. – The Bethel College Lady Pilots women’s basketball team lost in a non-conference tilt with Cornerstone (Mich.) in their first action in 11 days.

  • Cornerstone outscored the Lady Pilots 23-9 in the second quarter. The Lady Pilots outscored the Golden Eagles in the other three quarters 39-38.
  • Kelsey Brickner scored a team-high 16 points, her third straight game in double figures and sixth on the season.
  • The Lady Pilots were held to a season-low 22 rebounds in the game.

  • “Cornerstone executed their stuff really well. We struggled with consistent execution. Thankfully, we get another shot tomorrow to bounce back and try to compete for 40 full minutes.”

NEXT TIME OUT

  • The Lady Pilots hit the road to South Bend to face off against IU South Bend in the Crosstown Showdown tomorrow at 1pm.
