Marcos Hernandez signs with Saint Mary-of-the-Woods

Goshen High School’s Marcos Hernandez has signed with Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College to play men’s soccer. Pomeroys’ head men’s soccer coach Abdessamad Tizaf said, “Marcos is a great student-athlete.  We are glad to have him join our new soccer program.  We can’t wait to see him in action.”

Marcos is the son of Francisco Hernandez and Edith Morales and has one brother (Francisco).  In addition to playing soccer, Marcos plans to pursue a major in business while at SMWC.  Eventually, Marcos would like to own his own soccer complex.  During his high school career, Marcos was named NLC All Conference his sophomore, junior, and senior years.  He was also named to the ISCA All District 2nd Team his junior year.  Marcos was named a Kiwanis Scholar Athlete each year of high school for his academic performance during the fall athletic season.
