After snapping Concordia’s six-year home winning streak, No. 9 Marian takes two out of three MSFA Mideast League Player of the Week awards.

Offensive Player of the Week
Ben Stevens, Marian
Jr., WR, Danville, Ind. (Danville HS)
• Caught ten passes for 153 yards in No. 9 Marian’s 24-7 win at Concordia
• Scored a pair of TDs, from 21 and 46 yards out
• Earns his second MSFA Offensive Player of the Week award this season, the third Offensive honor of his career, and sixth Player of the Week award overall
Defensive Player of the Week
Kole Murlin, Siena Heights
Sr., LB, Celina, Ohio (Celina HS)
• Led Siena Heights with 13 tackles in the Saints’ 34-14 win over Lawrence Tech
• Finished with two sacks and three tackles for loss on the day
• Earns his first career MSFA Defensive Player of the Week award this season, and the fifth of his career
Special Teams Player of the Week
Taylor Soper, Marian
Jr., P, Fishers, Ind. (Kentucky Wesleyan)
• Punted seven times for an average of 48.0 yards in the Knights’ 24-7 win at Concordia
• Had two punts over 50 yards, including a long of 76 yards, and placed five punts inside the 20
• Earns his first MSFA Special Teams Player of the Week honor this season, and the third of his career
