KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Southeastern University men’s golf team earned a bid to the 2018 NAIA Men’s Golf National Championship, held May 15-18 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
This marks the fourth appearance for the team in the last six seasons, and the fifth overall with Kyle Martin qualifying as an individual in 2015.
The five Fire golfers will begin play on Hole 1 at noon on May 15th, paired with golfers from Cumberland (Tenn.) and Jamestown (N.D.). That same group will begin the second round, teeing off on Hole 10 at 7:30 a.m. on the 16th.
Following 54 holes, the field is cut to the top 17 teams and top 40 individuals including ties.
The Fire finished the regular season ranked 15th in the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.
