Warren named first star after leading Wolverines to weekend sweep of Minnesota

First Star

Led the Wolverines to a weekend sweep of Minnesota, the first for the Wolverines at Minnesota since the 1976-77 season and the first against the Gophers since the 2008-09 campaign

Scored two goals in Friday’s 5-3 win, including the eventual game-winner

Found the back of the net just 1:13 into Saturday’s game to help Michigan to a 3-1 win

Earns his second career weekly award and first of the season

Recorded a Big Ten-best five points last weekend as the Buckeyes split a series at No. 13 Penn State

Netted the first goal of the game on Saturday before assisting Freddy Gerard’s power-play goal and eventual game-winner late in the first

Extended his point streak to eight games with a 5-9-14 line during that stretch

Earns his fourth career weekly award and third of the season

Recorded a trio of goals on the weekend to help the Spartans split the weekend series at Wisconsin

Netted the game-winner in Friday’s 2-0 victory

Pushed his goal total to 14 and point total to 27 – both of which lead all freshmen nationally

Earns his fourth career weekly award
