Wolverines’ Lexie Blair, Gophers’ Amber Fiser and Buckeyes’ Lilli Piper receive Big Ten’s top honors this week

Player of the Week

Lilli Piper, Ohio State

Posted a .700 batting average, .824 on-base percentage and 1.700 slugging percentage last week, hitting three home runs with five RBI and nine runs scored as the Buckeyes extended its winning streak to a season-high five games

Had home runs in all three games of OSU’s Big Ten series sweep at Michigan State during the weekend, with her last home run part of a 4-for-4 day in Sunday’s series finale

Tied her career high by scoring four runs (one shy of the Big Ten record) in the series opener at MSU on April 19

Received Academic All-Big Ten plaudits in 2017-18

Earns her fifth career Player of the Week honor, tying for third-most in conference history and matching the most ever by an OSU softball student (Sam Marder from 2007-10)
