Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State Standouts Honored as Three Stars

Penn State’s Berger earns first star after tying for the national lead with five points last weekend 

 

First Star

Chase Berger, Penn State

F – Sr. – St. Louis, Mo. – Finance

  • Tied for the national points lead with five points on two goals and three assists in Penn State’s series sweep of Minnesota
  • Registered back-to-back multi-point efforts, including a three-point game on Friday with one goal and a pair of assists during a 7-2 victory
  • Added a goal and collected the primary assist on the game-winning goal to seal the Nittany Lions’ sweep on Saturday
  • Earns his third career weekly award and first since Jan. 17, 2017 (First Star)

  • Assisted on Saturday’s game-winner, was +2 and blocked 5 shots as Ohio State limited Wisconsin to just two goals on the weekend
  • Earns his first career weekly award
