Michigan State, Minnesota and Northwestern Earn Big Ten Weekly Women’s Soccer Honors
Spartans’ Evans and Koehler, Golden Gophers’ Boman, and Wildcats’ Lapi and Raben capture this week’s conference accolades

Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Camryn Evans, Michigan State
Grad. – F – Fenton, Mich. – Flint Powers – Graduate Program: Health and Risk Communications
• Posted a hat trick in Michigan State’s 4-2 win over No. 19 Colorado on a rainy Sunday afternoon in East Lansing, Mich.
• Became the first Spartan with a three-goal match since 2019 (fourth home hat trick in school history) and led MSU to its first win over a ranked opponent since Oct. 16, 2016 (3-1 vs. No. 16 Penn State, also in East Lansing)
• Three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree (2019, 2020, 2021) and two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar (2019, 2020)
• Collects her first career Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week award
• Last Michigan State Offensive Player of the Week: Gia Wahlberg (Aug. 27, 2019)

Sophia Boman, Minnesota

• Registered three goals and an assist last week in Minnesota’s victories over Omaha and Marquette
• Factored into all three Golden Gopher goals (two goals, one assist) in Sunday’s 3-0 win over Marquette, scoring both of her goals in the opening 35 minutes
• Named an Academic All-Big Ten selection last season
• Secures her first career Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week accolade

• Anchored the Northwestern midfield in two shutout victories at home last week against No. 6 Stanford and Butler
• Scored the lone goal in the 1-0 win over Stanford on Sept. 8, NU’s first victory over a top-10 opponent since Nov. 5, 2014 (1-0 vs. No. 6 Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament at West Lafayette, Ind.)
• Twice chosen for Academic All-Big Ten honors (2020, 2021)
• Captures her first career Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week award
• Last Northwestern Defensive Player of the Week: Emma Phillips (Sept. 6, 2022)

Goalkeeper of the Week
Mia Raben, Northwestern
Grad. – Denver, Colo. – Cherry Creek – Graduate Program: Integrated Marketing Communications
• Did not allow a goal and made a combined five saves in helping Northwestern shut out No. 6 Stanford and Butler last week, extending NU’s current scoreless streak to 356 minutes
• Had a season-high four saves in Sunday’s win over Butler, including a key stop on a match-tying penalty kick attempt in the 48th minute
• Garners her first career Goalkeeper of the Week honor
• Last Northwestern Goalkeeper of the Week: Mackenzie Wood (Oct. 1, 2019)
