Michigan State, Minnesota and Wisconsin Standouts Honored as Three Stars

Minnesota’s Sheehy earns first star after recording back-to-back multi-goal games

 

First Star

Tyler Sheehy, Minnesota

F – Sr. – Burnsville, Minn.

  • Led the nation with four goals last weekend as the Gophers went 1-1 with conference foe Michigan State
  • Recorded back-to-back two-goal performances for the second time in his career to help Minnesota pick up three points in the standings
  • Netted the Gophers’ second and fourth goals on Friday before registering Minnesota’s first and second goals on Saturday
  • The Academic All-Big Ten honoree earns his eighth career weekly award and first since Feb. 13, 2017 (First Star)
