Michigan’s Meghan Beaubien, Minnesota’s Dani Wagner, Nebraska’s Tristen Edwards and Ohio State’s Niki Carver and Shelby McCombs receive Big Ten’s top honors this week

Dani Wagner, Minnesota
OF – Sr. – Hayfield, Minn. – Hayfield
Batted .500 with a .611 on-base percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage last weekend in leading No. 16/18 Minnesota to a 5-0 record at the season-opening SportCo Kickoff Classic in Las Vegas
Collected seven hits, including two home runs, and eight RBI, while scoring four runs during the tournament
Extended her hitting and on-base streaks to eight games each, dating back to the end of last season
Earns her first career Player of the Week honor

Piled up 11 hits and five RBI while scoring five runs in the six-game tournament
Delivered a two-out walk-off RBI single in the season-opening win over nationally-ranked BYU and added a career-high three hits in a run-rule victory over CSU Northridge

Recorded a career-high 12 strikeouts in win at Florida Atlantic
Aided her cause at the plate, batting .500 with four hits, including a home run and two RBI
Earns her first career Pitcher of the Week honor
