Minnesota’s Carlie Wagner and Destiny Pitts, and Ohio State’s Kelsey Mitchell are this week’s honorees

Carlie Wagner, Minnesota

G – Sr. – New Richland, Minn. – New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva

Averaged 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game with a .563 three-point percentage last week, helping the Golden Gophers to wins over No. 23 Michigan and No. 10/9 Maryland

Scored a team-high 26 points, highlighted by 6-of-11 three-pointers, while adding five rebounds and four assists in last Thursday’s victory over Michigan

Contributed 17 points (including 3-of-5 three-pointers), six rebounds and four assists in Sunday’s win over Maryland

Was an Academic All-America selection in 2016-17 and is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree

Earns her first career Player of the Week honor

Tallied 28 points (including 5-of-11 three-pointers), along with five assists and three steals in last Tuesday’s win at Illinois

Added 26 points, going 4-of-9 from three-point range, as well as a season-high eight rebounds, three assists and three steals in Sunday’s Senior Day victory over Purdue

Collected Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2016 and 2017

Earns her 12th career Player of the Week honor (fourth of the season), the fourth-most career Player of the Week awards in Big Ten history

Megan Gustafson, Jr., F/C, IOWA: Scored 25 points on 9-of-13 shooting, while adding eight rebounds in the Hawkeyes’ lone game of the week, a win on Sunday over visiting Wisconsin

Tyler Scaife, Sr., G, RU: Collected 25 points, four rebounds, four assists and a season-high four steals in the Scarlet Knights’ only outing last week, a victory at Wisconsin last Wednesday

Destiny Pitts, Minnesota

G/F – Detroit, Mich. – Detroit Country Day

Averaged 15.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game with a .421 three-point percentage last week in helping Minnesota to victories over two Top 25 opponents

Posted her team-high sixth double-double of the season last Wednesday against No. 23 Michigan with 10 points and 12 rebounds

Nearly had another double-double on Sunday against No. 10/9 Maryland, winding up with 20 points (including 6-of-11 three-pointers), nine rebounds and four assists

Earns her seventh career Freshman of the Week honor, tying for the third-most honors in a single season in Big Ten history and most by a Minnesota student (seven by Amanda Zahui B. in 2013-14)
