Minnesota and Penn State Standouts Named Three Stars
Gophers’ McManus claims first star after finishing the weekend with a nation-leading six points

First Star
Brannon McManus, Minnesota

• Led the Gophers to their first Big Ten sweep of the season, picking up six points against No. 6/6 Ohio State
• Recorded back-to-back three-point games, starting with one goal and two assists in Friday’s 6-3 victory
• Tallied the eventual game-winner to go along with two assists in a 4-1 win on Saturday
• Finished the weekend with a +6 rating, tying for third in the nation behind teammates Sampo Ranta and Ryan Zuhlsdorf
• Earns his third career weekly award and first since Oct. 9, 2018 (Second Star)
