LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Southeastern University softball players Bailee Moll and Hannah Bodenhorn eared NAIA All-Region II recognition from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
Moll, a junior third baseman was named to the first team as an at-large selection. The Crest Hill, Ill. Native hit .324 with 18 doubles, three home runs, and 30 RBIs. Moll was named First Team All-Sun Conference, posting a .333 average in league play with a .487 slugging percentage and a .404 on-base percentage against conference opponents.
Bodenhorn was an at-large selection on the second team, after being named The Sun Conference Pitcher of the Year. The senior from Nashville, Tenn. posted a 1.64 ERA in 141 innings of work, striking out 164 of the 572 total batters she faced, with opponents posting just a .199 batting average against.
All-Region players are nominated and selected by NFCA member head coaches in each of the six NAIA regions. The All-America team will be announced Wednesday.
