No.12 Bethel Men’s Soccer earns 2-1 homecoming win over Marian

Mishawaka, Ind— The 12th ranked Pilots pulled out a hard fought 2-1 victory over Marian University Saturday night at Morey Field. The two teams were scoreless at the intermission but Luan Bressy’s back post header in the 49th minute started the scoring for Bethel. Piero Sabroso scored two minutes later to give the home team a two goal lead. The Knights lone goal came off the foot of Nate Van Keulen in the 69th minute but the Pilots were able to control the final minutes of the game and hang on for the win.

The win was Bethel’s 8th straight, improving their overall record to 10-2 and alone in first place at 3-0 in the Crossroads League.
