Notre Dame, Ind.  The Holy Cross College women’s basketball returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this evening when the hosted #20 nationally ranked University of St. Francis. After a slow start by Holy Cross, they found themselves down 10-2 early. The Saints entered halftime down 31-18. St. Francis would go on a run in the second half and down the Saints 70-41. With the loss, the Saints fall at 8-8 overall and 3-4 in league play, while the USF improves to 18-4 and 6-2.
