No. 16 UNOH Trims Taylor in Road Match

LIMA, Ohio – The Trojans battled well on Tuesday, taking on the 16th-ranked Northwestern Ohio Racers. A single second half goal helped the host squad, UNOH, slip by Taylor.
Defense ruled the afternoon match, as Taylor (2-1) and Northwestern Ohio (2-0) struggled to find good looks at the goal. TU finished with four shots and one on-goal, while the Racers placed five shots on-goal and 12 total. The Trojans also found a few chances through five corner kicks.
Megan Williams maintained a clean slate in goal through the first 45 minutes, offering two saves. The team posted four saves on the day, as Lauren Cammarano recorded a pair of saves in the second half of action.
Taylor will look to bounce back against Cincinnati Christian on Saturday at 7:00 pm in its 2019 home opener at Turner Stadium.
