NO.4 St Xavier WBB rolls past Saints

Notre Dame, IN. The #4 Saint Xavier Cougars came into the Pfeil Center Saturday afternoon and wasted no time proving their ranking. The Cougars jumped out to an early lead and were able to defeat the Saints, 88-62. With the loss, women’s basketball stands at 10-14 overall and 4-10 in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

The Saints were lead in scoring by Junior Keysha Streater who scored a team-high 22 points, while shooting 10/12 from the field. Senior Tagin Schultheis added 18 points, while dishing out a team-best five assists. Holy Cross shot 39% from the field and 23% from behind the arc.

Women’s basketball will be back in action Wednesday, Jan. 31 when they host Judson University. Tipoff is set for 5:30pm.
