Buckeyes’ Nappier earns First Star after helping Ohio State complete sweep of Wisconsin

First Star
Tommy Nappier, Ohio State

• Stopped all 31 shots he faced Saturday for his first career shutout, backstopping the Buckeyes to a 4-0 win over Wisconsin and a series sweep
• Made 11 saves in the first, eight in the second and 12 in the third of his fourth career start
• He and the Buckeyes were 2-for-2 on the penalty kill in the win
• Improved to 4-0-0 on the year, with a 1.33 goals-against average and .956 save percentage
• Earns his first career weekly award
