LAKELAND, Fla. – For her record breaking efforts at the Sand Shark Invitational this past weekend, Kelsi Ogilvie was named The Sun Conference Runner of the Week for the second time in three weeks.

Ogilvie led the Fire to an outstanding third place finish in South Carolina this past weekend.  With her time of 18:15, the freshman set a new 5K school record, breaking the 18:22 threshold previously posted by Julia Kaster.  Ogilvie’s time positioned her third place overall in the massive field of 222 runners.

The Fire await the Sun Conference Championship set to take place on November 4 at Ave Maria.
