COLUMBIA, Ky. — Southeastern football players Jonathan Pearce and Collin Thomas were selected as Sun Division Players of the Week after a 77-12 win over Edward Waters.

Pearce was the Offensive Player of the Week, completing all but one of his 15 passes for 253 yards, and a school-record five touchdowns.  He was named the Augusta City Classic Most Valuable Player.

On defense, Collin Thomas’ two interception returns for touchdowns earned him his first weekly honor. He recorded 28 and 63-yard returns for scores to help the Fire move to 7-1 and 4-0 in division play.

The Fire conclude the regular season Saturday at home against Ave Maria.
