Penn State’s Simone Lee, Purdue’s Sherridan Atkinson and Ashley Evans, and Wisconsin’s Dana Rettke earn weekly honors

Player of the Week

Sherridan Atkinson, Purdue

OH – Jr. – Long Beach, Calif. – Millikan

Averaged 4.4 kills and 1.9 digs per set with a .364 hitting percentage, helping No. 21 Purdue earn a pair of top-10 conference victories

Registered 17 kills, eight digs and four blocks in the four-set victory over No. 5 Minnesota

Posted 14 kills, five blocks and five digs for a .480 hitting percentage in the Boilermakers’ straight-set victory over No. 10 Wisconsin

Earns her first career Player of the Week award

Averaged 4.3 kills and 4.7 digs per set and recorded back-to-back double-doubles to help top-ranked Penn State defeat Iowa and Maryland on the weekend

Recorded 16 kills, 15 digs, three blocks and was error-free on 20 reception attempts to help the team hit .350 in the straight-set win at Iowa

Posted 13 digs, 10 kills and two blocks to help the Nittany Lions sweep Maryland
