HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Over the weekend, Huntington University junior Konner Platt became the 49th player in Forester program history to join the 1,000-point club.
Needing just six points coming into Saturday’s contest against IU Northwest, the 6-2 guard nailed a three at the 9:36 mark of the first half to put him over the century mark by a point. Platt finished the afternoon with 17 points, five assists and four rebounds.
To date, Platt has racked up 1,011 points, 477 coming from downtown, in 76 games for a career average of 13.3 points per night. He also boasts a career average of 3.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per outing.
The Foresters are currently 9-5 on the year.
