Notre Dame, Ind.  The Holy Cross College men’s soccer team hosted Calumet College of St. Joseph this afternoon in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup. Daniel Lynch scored two goals in the first half to give the Saints a 2-0 lead entering halftime. Jeff Rafter and Nate Mendez would add to the Holy Cross lead scoring a goal in the 56th and 58th minute respectfully. The Crimson wave would score a goal of their own in the 59th minute to cut into the Saints lead, but late goals by Luis Correa-Cabral and Andres Vital would give them a 6-1 victory. With the win, men’s soccer improves to 10-3-2 overall and 6-2-2 in CCAC play while CCSJ falls to 2-11-1 and 0-8-1.
