KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Following its win on Saturday over Warner, the Southeastern University football team moved up a spot in the NAIA-AFCA Top 25.
The Fire moved up to 18th in the ranking, voted on by a panel of head coaches representing each qualifying group.
Southeastern is currently 6-1 and has a 3-1 record in the Mid-South Sun Division. The Fire accumulated 131 points in the poll, finishing 18 points behind No. 17 Reinhardt. Defending national champion Morningside remained first.
SEU is one of five Mid-South Conference teams in the poll.
Saturday, the Fire will host Webber International at 7 p.m.
