Positively Promoting the Student Athlete Since 1992

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The Southeastern University men’s soccer team continues to climb up the national ranks. The Fire moved up one spot to No. 17 in the latest installment of the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.
SEU has yet to lose a game this season, having outscored opponents 18-4 to start the 2019 campaign.
Graduate forward Jake Van Der Luit ranks in third in the NAIA in goals scored with 10 tallies on the season.
The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, Association of Independent Institutions and Unaffiliated Groups.
The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.
The Fire are in action at the SEU Soccer Complex on Friday night in a scrimmage versus NCAA Division II Rollins College. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
