LAKELAND, Fla.—The pursuit of a fourth-consecutive trip to the NAIA National Championship begins on September 15 for the Southeastern University women’s golf team.
Coach Steve Phelps announced the fall portion of the team’s schedule this afternoon.
The Fire will head to the USCB Sand Shark Invitational at Oldfield to begin the season. It will be the first time in the seven seasons of Fire women’s golf the team has played Oldfield. On October 6, SEU will return to Kinderlou Forest for the first time since 2017 to play in the Thomas University Fall Invitational. During the last trip to Kinderlou, Ana Uribe placed sixth in the field at +8 during the 36-hole tournament.
The fall portion closes with a pair of return trips from last season—NOB North for the Dalton State Invitational October 20-22 and Trump National in Doral for the Adamonis Invitational, hosted by Johnson & Wales.
Southeastern was the runner-up at Doral last season behind then No. 1 Keiser.
